Webster = suk·kah : a booth or shelter with a roof of branches and leaves that is used especially for meals during the Sukkoth
You shall dwell in Sukkoth seven days.. Leviticus 23:42

LEVITICUS 23:1
The Lord said to Moses
LEV 23:2 Speak to the children of Israel
LEV 23:4
These are the feasts of the Lord, even holy convocations, which you shall proclaim
LEV 23:34 The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days to the Lord.
LEV 23:35 On the first day ( the first day of this holiday is the 15th } you shall
do no servile work therein.

LEV 23:36
Seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire ... you shall offer an offering made by fire to the Lord: it is a solemn assembly; and you shall do no servile work therein.
#2 THESE ARE COMMANDS TO THE ISRAELITES, NOT TO ANYONE WHO WOULD "CONVERT", NOT TO THE PRIEST.
#3 THE ISRAELITES THEMSELVES WERE COMMANDED TO GIVE BURNT OFFERINGS 7 DAYS.
LEV 23:37 These are the feasts of the Lord, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations,
to offer an offering made by fire to the Lord, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, every thing upon his day:

LEV 23:40
You shall take the boughs = ( branches) of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and you shall rejoice before the Lord your God seven days.
LEV 23:41 ...
It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: you shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
LEV 23:42
Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths:
#4 Using branches and willows the ordinance is to build huts.
#5 This statute is never ending, it is forever.

LEV 23:43 That your generations may know that
I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

Hebrew word dwell: Pronounced yaw-shab' a primitive root; properly, to sit down (specifically as judge. in ambush, in quiet); by implication,
to dwell, to remain; causatively, to settle.

Burnt offering, Hebrew word for Burnt " or `owlah {o-law'} feminine active participle of HSN5927; a step or (collectively, stairs, as ascending); (
as going up in smoke): ,,, ascent, burnt offering (sacrifice), go up to. See also HSN5766.

LEV 23:42
Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths:
LEV 23:43 That your generations may know that
I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

The Israelites did not sit in the house watching tv and then venture out to a hut 5 days a year. The word is dwell or live. This is an ordinance of the Lord forever.

They are required to dwell / live in these huts made
of branches for seven days EVERY YEAR.
