CHELDEANS, CHALDEES, UR, IRAQ, BABYLON
Look at the place now called Texas on the map of the United States. At one time that land area was part of the nation of Mexico, then it was the nation of Texas, then it became part of the nation of the United States. The very same land area has been 3 different nations and the very same family who lived there were all Mexicans, Texans and Americans by nationality.
What a people or land area is called depends on what political power controls the land area. No matter what it is called, it is the same place and the people are the same people ! Ur is only the ancient place for Iraq. Chaldees is only the names of the ancestors of today's Iraqis. Iraq, Ur, Chaldees, Iraq, Iraqis same thing, just different names given by the political powers.
GENESIS 11:27 Now these are the generations of Terah: Terah
fathered Abram, Nahor, and Haran; and Haran fathered lot.
GENESIS 11:28 And Haran died before his father Terah in the land of his nativity, in Ur of the Chaldees.
The garden of Eden was in Iraq. No matter what political powers have changed it's name, it is the same place and no matter who has changed the names of their descendants, today's Iraqis are the descendants of the ancient Chaldeans.
GENESIS 11:31 And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son's son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram's wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came to Haran, and lived there.
GENESIS 15:7 And he said to him, I am the Lord that brought you out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give you this land to inherit it.
All the Arabs the Israelites fought against, is exactly who they were themselves and who they came from.
2_KINGS 24:2 And the Lord sent against (the tribe of Judah) bands of the Chaldees
... against Judah to destroy it,
Of course the people of Judah came from Chaldeans, Syrians, Moabites and the children of Ammon and they never ceased to marry them and produce children with them.
Iraq was at the center of Babylon. Iraq or Ur is the land Abraham and Sarah came out of. Abraham and Sarah were Chaldeans themselves. The name of the place today is Iraq. The Iraqi's ancestors were the people Sarah and Abraham came out of.
NEHEMIAH 9:7 You art the Lord who choose Abram, and brought him forth out of Ur/Iraq of the Chaldees, and gavest him the name of Abraham;
BABYLON / UR / IRAQ = SAME PLACE
For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles,
and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships.
ISAIAH 48:20 Go you forth of Babylon, flee you from the Chaldeans
Of course the Israelites were taken captivity in Iraq or Babylon and of course the Israelite women were taken by the men who wanted them. This is NOT written any where ! It is ONLY my assumption ... as I would assume women taken by any historic culture would have been taken by men.
JEREMIAH 24:5 Thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel; Like these good figs,
so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have
sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans
for their good.
JEREMIAH 32:28 Therefore thus saith the Lord; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the Chaldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and he shall take it:
JEREMIAH 43:3 But Baruch the son of Neriah setteth you on against us, for to deliver us into the hand of the Chaldeans, that they might put us to death, and carry us away captives into Babylon.
a) All Israelites on earth began with the stock of Chaldeans / Iraqis and Syrians. The Israelites were taken back to Iraq in captivity and of course the only Israelite women who did not get poked were those protected by the ugly stick. The Israelites took the Arab women in their power. There is a list of the kings of Israel who produced their children with them.
b) The ancestors of the modern day Iraqis and the ancestors of the bible Israelites are one. When the Israelites left Iraq of course there were a multitude of Israelite women and children who had been assimilated into the into the nation of Babylon / Iraq.
c) Today the descendants of those Israelites are mostly Muslims would be the best guess. Their religion does not change the fact of their heritage.
The paragraphs a, b and c are only my assumptions. There is NO written information to back it up, but we know these assumptions are true or false. If my assumptions are false then you would have to assume the Babylonians had thousands of captive women they were physically attracted to ... and they had the power to take, but they did not take them because they were good guys. You tell me Jethro, which is your bet?
In any event the ancestors of the present day Iraqis were the stock of ever
